He Heals the Broken-hearted

Praising Him for:

21. Safe travel
22. Being my hubby's "Hunting Buddy" instead of a "Hunting Widow".
23. Walking through the woods with my hubby as he teaches me about the woods and wildlife.
24. Hearing, "Good job!" from my hubby.
25. Running 4 miles instead of the planned 3 miles.
26. Snuggling with my hubby in our sleeping bag and remembering back to when we were newlyweds in the same sleeping bag - 24 years ago.
27. Answering questions about the Bible.
28. Deep conversations about religion and faith.
29. Our nephew smiling (finally) as he tells stories of his time serving in the USMC in Iraq and Kuwait.
30. Three generations of O'Brien men talking hunting, telling tales, and laughing together.
31. Getting SMILE FM all the way from Oxford to Escanaba. (except for about 1/2 hour around Manistique.) Love that postcard to help find the stations as we drove.
32. Breaking camp before the rain came.
33. A text message from Chad when we had no signal.
34. The "Wall of Honor" at the Escanaba Wal*Mart.
35. More stars in the night sky than we could begin to count.
36. Beautiful weather to enjoy God's creation.
37. Friends who pray for me, and FB friends who tell the world they are praying for me! :)

"Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.
  The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the outcasts of Israel.
  He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
  He determines the number of the stars;
he gives to all of them their names.
  Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
his understanding is beyond measure.
  The Lord lifts up the humble;

he casts the wicked to the ground.
 Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving;
make melody to our God on the lyre!
  He covers the heavens with clouds;
he prepares rain for the earth;
he makes grass grow on the hills.
  He gives to the beasts their food,
and to the young ravens that cry.
  His delight is not in the strength of the horse,
nor his pleasure in the legs of a man,
  but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him,
in those who hope in his steadfast love." Psalm 147:1-11
